Saw game action in 10 contests, including some playing time at linebacker and was a solid special teams contributor…had four tackles, including three solo.
2008 Redshirt Freshman Season
Saw action in all 12 games at linebacker and on special teams…compiled five tackles.
2007 Freshman Season

Prior to Kent State
Totaled 233 tackles with one interception, 15 sacks and 17 tackles for a loss in three seasons as a starter at J.H. Rose High School…named all-area and all-conference selection as a junior when he recorded 97 total tackles and nine quarterback sacks…twice selected as a game MVP…also named Most Improved Player for JHRHS as a junior…in his senior season, made 118 tackles, including six sacks and also intercepted a pass…member of four North Carolina State Championship teams…also a member of Coastal 3A14A Conference Championship squads in 2005 and 2006…was named to the North Carolina Preps All-State Team…lettered three times in football.
