AJ Scott joined the Kent State football program as an offensive graduate assistant in August of 2020.Â
In that role, Scott assists coaching the offensive line, creates scouting reports on various aspects of opponent defense,breaksdown film and handles data entry for practice and games and recruits Minnesota and Wisconsin.Â
Prior to joining the Golden Flashes, Scottwas the defensive line coach at Lake Erie College. Scott coached Justin Growel, in 2019 to a 1st team All-GMAC, all-region and honorable mention All-America season.
Scott played four seasons at Colorado Mesa University and earned his bachelor's in sport management with a minor in business. He earned his MBA from Lake Erie College.Â
