Karter Kesner serves as the Director of Football Operations for Kent State Football, playing a key role in the strategic planning and day-to-day execution of the Golden Flashes program.
Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Kesner is a 2022 graduate of Kent State who returned to the university in January 2023 as an assistant equipment manager after gaining valuable experience at the professional level. He previously interned with the Baltimore Ravens during the 2021 training camp and served as an equipment intern with the Arizona Cardinals during the 2022 NFL season, experiences that provided him with firsthand exposure to elite football operations, organizational efficiency, and championship-level standards.
As an undergraduate, Kesner spent four years as a student manager for Kent State Football, developing a comprehensive understanding of program operations, player support, and staff coordination. His deep familiarity with the program, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in supporting the football staff, streamlining daily operations, and advancing the continued success of Kent State Football.
