The Kent State football program welcomed the addition of Nolan Jones as director of football operations. A veteran in football operations, Jones has served as a director at four other FBS programs.
"We're very excited to have Nolan Jones on board," Head Coach Paul Haynes said. "He brings a great amount of experience and knowledge from other major programs."
Jones most recently served as director of player personnel at Northwestern University this past offseason. It was his second stint with the Wildcats after spending five seasons as Northwestern's director of football operations.
Since 2002, Jones has also been at Michigan, Southern Miss, Kentucky, Princeton and Eastern Kentucky. Jones earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Eastern Kentucky.
"Kent State is a great place with great people," Jones said. "And I'm looking forward to working with our student-athletes. We get to head right into camp this week… so it's 'tape your ankles and let's go.' "
