• Ninth leading tackler on the team
• Finished 10th in the MAC with eight passes defended
• Had a 26-yard interception return at No. 10 Penn State (9/15)
• Wrapped up a career-high seven tackles at Ole Miss (9/22)
• Broke up two passes with four tackles in a win at Bowling Green (10/30)
• One of two recipients of single digit jersey in spring

2017 Freshman Season
• Played in all 12 games and made one start
• Registered 18 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sacks, one interception, one pass broken up, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble
• Forced and recovered a fumble at Louisville (9/23)
• Recorded first career interception on the third play of the game with a 14-yard return in a win over Miami (10/14)
• Had first career sack and tackles for loss with a career-high five tackles against Akron (11/21)
• Made first career start against Central Michigan (11/14)
• Made collegiate debut at Clemson (9/2)

Prior to Kent State
• 3-star recruit as rated by multiple scouting agencies
• Went undefeated as a part of the IMG Academy Ascenders football team (20-0)
• The Ascenders finished as the No. 1 team in the MaxPreps south region football computer rankings and No. 4 team in the nation
• During junior and senior seasons combined to made 51 tackles with four interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery
• Also broke up 16 passes and scored two defensive touchdowns
