2011 Junior Season
• Led the team in sacks (5.0) and finished second in tackles for loss (10.5)
• Forced a team-high three fumbles and totaled 45 tackles
• Recorded career-high three sacks, forced and recovered a fumble at Temple
• Made four tackles and a sack in win at Akron
• Named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-MAC Third Team
• Made seven tackles (2 for loss) and forced a fumble against Louisiana
• Made five stops and forced the fumble that led to Kent State's only score at Northern Illinois
• Totaled five tackles and a sack against Miami
2010 Sophomore Season
• Started nine games, totaling 35 tackles and 3.5 sacks
• Had career-best performance in win over Ohio with seven tackles, five solo stops, two sacks and a forced fumble
• Made first career start at Boston College
2009 Freshman Season
• Appeared in eight games on special teams, making three tackles
• One of nine true freshmen to letter
Prior To Kent State
• Earned all-league honors his senior season after recording 102 tackles (40 solo) and eight tackles for loss
• Named Mason High School’s most outstanding defensive player and was a team captain
• Earned Academic Award for the highest GPA on the team
• Was a high school teammate of fellow Flash Josh Kline
• Also lettered three years in lacrosse
