2011 Senior Season
• Named to Burlsworth Trophy list, honoring the nation's top player who started his career as a walk-on
• Recorded two sacks and four tackles against Miami
• Team captain (voted by players and coaches)
2010 Junior Season
• Appeared in 10 games, making six starts
• Had 7.5 tackles for loss and 27 total stops on the year
• Tallied a career-high five tackles and batted down two passes at Miami
• Matched career-high of five tackles against Akron and recorded 1.5 sacks
2009 Sophomore Season
• Played in all 12 games on the defensive line
• Made 12 tackles including seven solo and four for loss
• Made two unassisted stops against Boston College on Sept. 12
2008 Redshirt Freshman Season
• Appeared in two games on the defensive line
• Earned the team’s Defensive Scout Award for the second year in a row
2007 Freshman Season
• Redshirted
• Presented with the Defensive Scout Award at the conclusion of the season
Prior to Kent State
• Named to All-WPIAL AAAA team after posting 62 tackles, four sacks, three blocked punts, three fumble recoveries and one offensive touchdown at Butler
• Earned three letters in football and one each in track & field and basketball
