With a year at tight end under his belt, Lester Troutman heads into the fall third on the depth chart...has settled into his new role, especially in goal line and short-yardage situations...will also contribute on special teams.

2008 Junior Season
Reserve tight end who saw action in nine games...returned four kickoffs for 38 yards.

2007 Sophomore Season
Appeared in five games as a member of the defensive line...notched four tackles, one solo, including two against Delaware State Sept. 15.

2006 Redshirt Freshman Season
Did not see game action.

2005 Freshman Season
Was redshirted in first season on campus...earned the defensive Scout Team Award.

Prior to Kent State
Earned All-Greater Catholic League and All-Area accolades as a senior at Chaminade-Julieen High School...made 91 tackles, including eight quarterback sacks as a senior...was the team's best defensive lineman as a junior, making 72 stops with three sacks...also intercepted a pair of passes in his career and finished with 16 career sacks...earned two varsity letters...was coached by Jim Place.
