• Honorable mention Academic All-MAC selection for the second straight year
• Received the Leo E. Strang award at the conclusion of spring practice as the upperclassman with the highest cumulative grade point average
• Limited to nine games (eight starts) due to injury
2008 Redshirt Freshman Season
• Started all 12 games at left guard after winning starting job as a redshirt freshman in the preseason
• Helped KSU pace the MAC in rushing with 230.6 yards per game
• Academic All-MAC honoree

• Was named second-team all-state and first-team all-conference and all-area as a senior at Parkland High School
• Earned three letters in helping the Trojans to an Eastern Conference championship in 2005 and a Lehigh Valley Conference title in 2006
