• Gained 31 yards on his first career carry, which came on a fake punt during the 31-24 victory Nov. 17 at Bowling Green
• Recorded four tackles in his first ever college game during Kent State's 41-21 victory Aug. 30 over Towson
Prior to Kent State
• 2010 first team all-state
• First team conference and all-region senior year and was conference and region defensive MVP
• All-conference honorable mention as a junior
• Holds Orange High School team record for sacks in a season (16)
• Finished senior season with 118 tackles, 16 sacks, and 31 tackles for loss
• Finished high school career with 179 tackles, 23.5 sacks, and 41 tackles for loss
• Played for Adam Bechlem
• Also lettered in track and field.
