Sam Reagan, a Kent State Alumnus, was hired in September of 2024 as a Senior Athletic Trainer and works with the football and cheer & dance teams.
Reagan came to Kent State after working at Youngstown State University with the primary responsibility of football and track & field teams.
Prior to Youngstown, Reagan was contacted through the Cleveland Clinic as an athletic trainer at Baldwin Wallace University. Reagan served as an athletic trainer for the football, men’s volleyball, and men’s lacrosse teams. Reagan was named BW’s 2023 athletic trainer of the year by the student athletes. During this time Reagan also had the opportunity to travel with a Premier League team during the 2023 American Summer Series.
Reagan earned his bachelor's degree from Kent State University in 2017 and his master’s from The University of Memphis in 2020.
