PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Lettered four times in track & field and once in cross country while at Hudson High School
• Earned all-Northeast Ohio Conference, all-district and all-region in the 1600 meter run
• Named all region, All-Ohio and All-American as a member of the 4x800-meter relay team his junior year
• Earned first team all-conference honors in the 4x400 meter relay and second team all-conference honors in the 400 meters following sophomore season
• Also participated in the long jump and the high jump
