2007: Named to All-Mid-American Conference First Team...earned a spot on ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team...claimed five MAC East Player of the Week awards (2/18, 3/18, 3/25, 4/23, 5/7), more than any other player in the conference...also named to Academic All-MAC Team...garnered Kent State Athlete of the Week honors (5/7)...broke her own school record for home runs in a season with 13...also led Flashes in hitting (.367), slugging (.713), runs batted in (42), hits (55) and total bases (107)...started in all 50 of Kent State’s games...broke KSU record with 27th career home run vs. Buffalo (4/29)...belted a grand slam vs. Northern Illinois to lead the Flashes to a 4-3 victory (4/22)...totaled 17 multi-hit games and 19 multi-RBI games...hit home runs in three consecutive at bats in the same day vs. Rhode Island and Long Island (3/17)...smacked 11 doubles.
2006: Made the transition to first base with spectacular results...broke the school record for home runs in a season when she belted 12 roundtrippers, including the game-winning two-run blast in the top of the sixth inning of the Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship game against Western Michigan on May 12...led the Golden Flashes in RBI (40), slugging percentage (.577), and total bases (101) while batting (.297)...named to the MAC All-Tournament Team...Selected to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American District IV Second Team...named to the All-Mideast Region Team...selected to the Academic All-MAC Team...named MAC Player of the Week (3/13).
2005: Appeared in 31 games, starting 11...had seven hits in 38 at-bats for a .184 average...hit three home runs and drove in seven runs...her best game was against Kentucky on February 26th at the Frost Classic in Chattanooga when she went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored...in the circle she appeared in five games, starting three...went 2-2 with a 4.42 ERA...struck out five in 12.2 innings of work... held batters to a .224 batting average...best pitching performance came against Bradley on February 25th at the Frost Classic in Chattanooga, she pitched four scoreless innings, striking out three in a 4-0 victory for her first collegiate win.
High School: Notched a 19-7 record with a 0.53 ERA...tallied 217 strikeouts in 158 innings pitched with 13 shutouts and six no-hitters...batted .375 with 23 RBI...also gained all-state, all-region and all-county Player of the Year honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior... Was a Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee ...named Woodland High School Female Athlete of the Year...had her high school jersey retired at the conclusion of her senior season...also earned four letters in basketball...played for the Atlanta Vipers club team.
