Tarah Dickerson begins her fifth season on the KSU coaching staff.
Dickerson spent three years as a member of the Auburn University coaching staff prior to her appointment at Kent State. Dickerson served as director of off-campus volleyball camps, coordinated travel plans for the Tigers, created and maintained all correspondence with alumni and boosters and also served as equipment manager for the team. She also founded the Auburn Volleyball Club where she served as director and coach for three years. The club was the first Junior Olympic volleyball club in East-Central Alabama. Dickerson served as the coach of Auburn’s Women’s Club Volleyball team in addition to her duties with the varsity squad. Dickerson completed her master’s degree in business administration at Auburn in December 2005.
Prior to her tenure at Auburn, Dickerson was the coach of the Chikara Volleyball Juniors team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A 2002 graduate of Marquette University, Dickerson was a three-year letterwinner and two-year captain as a setter and defensive specialist for the Golden Eagles.
