• Recoreded a career-high six blocks (six assisted) against Ohio (10/28) and at Akron (11/5).
2009 Freshman Season Highlights
• Started six of the 12 matches she played in, appearing in 32 sets.
• Finished the season strong against Buffalo (11/17) in the MAC Tournament First Round match with a season-high six kills, six blocks (one solo, five assists) and 9.5 points.
Prior to Kent State
• All-South Suburban Conference and team MVP selection after her junior and senior seasons at Reavis High School under head coach Bob Wielgos.
• Two-year varsity letterwinner for the Rams.
•Named Lincoln-Way East All-Tournament pick her junior year.
• Played for Sports Performance 18-AAU Volleyball Club under head coach Kristen Stewart, winning gold at nationals after a bronze finish at the 17-AAU level.
• Sports Performance also took bronze at the 17 and 18-AAU levels at the JVDA nationals, where she made the all-tournament team during her 18-AAU season.
