Stevie Mitcheff is in his first season on Kent State’s coaching staff, serving as a volunteer assistant.

After graduating from Kent State in 2013, Mitcheff spent the 2013-14 season as a graduate assistant at Cleveland State.

As a senior with the Golden Flashes, Mitcheff went 30-13 overall and won two matches at the NCAA Championships. He finished second at the MAC Championships and went 11-4 in dual meets. Mitcheff won individual titles at both the Navy Classic and the Brute Invitational.
