2007-08: Finished second in the 197-pound weight class at the MAC Championships...finished the season with a 25-12 record with five falls, five major decisions and 12 decisions...opened with a third-place finish at the Oklahoma Gold tournament...placed third at the Body Bar Invitational with a 4-1 record...was 2-0 at the Lock Haven Duals, including a pin in 40 seconds of Kyle Frey of Drexel...in a dual with Clarion, won in two overtimes over Jamie Luckett...jump-started the team in what proved to be a blowout in the dual with Cleveland State with a major decision over Alex Hughes...recorded a 3-2 record in helping the Golden Flashes take fourth a the Virginia Duals...recorded a 3-2 Mid-American Conference dual record.
2006-07: Competed at the Oklahoma Gold and Body Bar Invitational at 197 taking a fifth at Oklahoma Gold before dropping to 184 for the Penn State Open and Cleveland State Open...compiled a record of 2-7 with one major decision.
2005-06: Competed at the Oklahoma Gold and Body Bar Invitationals and the Cleveland State Open at 184 pounds...earned lone victory at CSU Open.
2004-05: Was redshirted...posted a 7-8 record competing in open events...went 3-2 at both the Ashland and Edinboro Open tournaments.
Prior to Kent State: Two-time state qualifier at Beachwood High School, placing second as a junior...won three individual MAC-8 championships...was a combined 120-40 in his career, including a 21-3 mark his final year...as a senior, was seventh at nationals after winning conference and sectional championships...helped Beachwood to state runner-up finish in 2003...lettered in wrestling, football and track and field.
