Profile: Former MAC champion returns to the mat after recovering from serious knee injury which forced him to miss all of last season... ranked 11th nationally entering the season... ranked fourth in MAC preseason by league coaches.

2003-04: Did not compete after suffering knee injury during football season 2002-03: Won the MAC Championship at heavyweight in his first varsity season... posted a 22-5 overall record with 11 falls... was a perfect 7-0 in MAC competition, including the conference championships... was just two wins shy of All-America honors at NCAA Championships 2001-02: Was resdhirted... went 1-2 with one fall wrestling unattached.

Prior to Kent State: Was the state runner-up as a senior at Orange High School, earning All-America honors... also was a state place winner as a junior... three-time All-Chagrin Valley Conference first team selection... earned four letters each in wrestling, football and track and field.
