Perry joined the Kent State University athletic staff in December 2019 and is currently the associate athletics director and chief of staff. In this role, she serves as the department’s liaison to Human Resources, coordinates with the University President and Cabinet, oversees organizational planning, departmental communications, and strategic initiatives. She also oversees student-athlete development and serves as sport administrator for the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field programs.
Before transitioning to the Athletics Director’s office, Perry was the assistant athletic director for academic services, where she managed academic progress and eligibility for football and baseball, supervised the athletic academic counseling staff, and coordinated the department’s annual NCAA APR and GSR reporting. Before that, she was the associate director for compliance and eligibility coordinator in the athletic compliance office.
Perry joined the Golden Flashes from Malone University (DII), where she served as the admissions counselor for athletics before becoming the institution’s primary NCAA compliance coordinator.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Perry earned her B.A. in Sport Management and M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Malone, where she was also a member of the swim and dive program.
