A native of Kent, Ohio, Boyd is a 2022 graduate of Marietta College, where he was a member of the Pioneers baseball team for two seasons. He attended MC after transferring from Morehead State University in 2020, where he was a two-year member of the Eagles baseball team. Most recently, Boyd served as the Assistant Director of Corporate Development at the University of Dayton. His additional professional experience includes roles in ticketing, fan experience, and operations with the University of Dayton, Akron RubberDucks, and Cleveland Guardians.
