Freshman Abby Fletcher won the individual floor exercise title with a 9.925 Saturday at the 2018 Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Championships. Fletcher’s score matcher her personal-best set on March 9 against Bowling Green and was tied for the second-highest score of the entire meet. The only Kent State gymnast to compete on three apparatuses, she scored a team-high 29.300 points, which was fourth among those who did not compete in the all-around. Fletcher posted a 9.775 on vault and a 9.600 on balance beam and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team in her MAC Championships debut.
