Danny Hall, Former Kent State Baseball Head Coach, Selected for 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame

KENT, Ohio – Danny Hall, who helped build the foundation of modern Kent State baseball as head coach from 1988-93, has been selected for induction into the 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame, the College Baseball Foundation (CBF) announced Thursday.

KENT, Ohio — Kent State baseball has placed five student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Pitcher Evan Holewinski, outfielder Micah Rienstra-Kiracofe, and catcher Brody Williams have additionally been named CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot.

AVON, Ohio — Kent State baseball pitcher Ciaran Caughey and outfielder Alejandro Covas have been named to the 2026 MAC All-Tournament Team following the Golden Flashes' run in the Mid-American Conference Tournament, the league announced Saturday.
