Inge Qualifies For The 800-Meter Finals At The NCAA Indoor Meet

KENT, Ohio Mike Inge (Jr., Elyria, Ohio/Elyria) qualified for tomorrows finals in the 800 meters, after placing fourth in his heat with a time of 1:48.77 on the first day (March 11) of the 2005 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.
Pawel Dutkiewicz (Jr., Leszno, Poland/Higher School) just missed out on All-America honors, placing ninth in the long jump with a distance of 24-11.
On the womens side, Breann Smith (Sr., Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer), finished her indoor career in impressive fashion, taking 12th in the shot put (51-0).
Action continues tomorrow at 4:10 p.m. CT, when Colleen Ramharak (Sr., Toronto, Ontario/Oakwood) competes in the triple jump. Adrian Ghioroaie (Sr., Bucharest, Romania/UTEP) also will compete in the mens triple jump, starting at 5:45 p.m. CT. Inge will race in the finals of the 800 at 6:45 p.m. CT.
