Zakrzewski Named MAC Field Athlete of The Week

KENT, Ohio - Freshman thrower Jaroslaw Zakrzewski (Fr., Gdansk, Poland) has been named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Field Athlete of the Week, for his performance during the week ending March 20.
Zakrzewski qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Regional Championships (May 27-28) after winning the hammer throw (194-8) at the Shamrock Invitational March 18. He also placed third in the shot put (48-7.50)
Zakrzewski and the rest of the Golden Flashes are back in action this weekend when the team competes at the Stanford Invitational (March 25-26).
