Hahn Awarded MAC Golfer of the Week

Sophomore earned fourth career runner-up at Windon Memorial
CLEVELAND, Ohio. - Kent State sophomore John Hahn (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) was named the Mid-American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time this season and third time in his career on Wednesday. Hahn earned the award after taking second at the Windon Memorial Classic this past weekend.
With a six-under 207 (68-70-69), Hahn led the Golden Flashes to a fourth place finish as a team. Taking home the fourth runner-up finish in his young career, the sophomore recorded 12 birdies for the tournament, including four of the final nine holes.
Hahn played the par fours at six-under par, giving him a four stroke advantage over the rest of the field. His 54-hole total matched the seventh lowest in KSU history and he missed become the fourth Golden Flashes to shoot an entire tournament in the 60s by one stroke.
Kent State completes its fall schedule in two weeks at the Bank of Tennessee at the Ridges on Oct. 24-26. .
