Henderson named MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Junior LeVania (Nia) Henderson (Westland, Mich./Livonia Churchill) was honored for her performance at the All-Ohio Track and Field Championships et the University of Cincinnati last weekend (4/18 and 4/19) when she was selected as the Mid-American Conference women's Field Athlete of the Week announced on Monday (4/21) by the conference office.
“Nia is just starting to scratch the surface of what she is capable of,” said head coach Bill Lawson. “She's becoming more consistent with her throws and her results are improving each week.”
