Flashes Continue to Build Upon Nationally-Ranked Wrestling Class

KENT, Ohio The rich keep getting richer.
Already with a recruiting class ranked in the top-20 nationally, Kent State continues to add to the 2008-09 freshman class.
The Golden Flashes are pleased to announce the addition of Adam Cogar (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton). Cogar is projected to compete in the 197-pound weight class.
While competing in high school in the 215-pound weight class for the Barberton Magics, Cogar was a runner-up in his weight class in 2007 and '08 at the Ohio High School Wrestling Championships. He also finished sixth as a sophomore at the state wrestling meet.
The Kent State Wrestling Team will make their season debut Nov. 1 in their annual Blue and Gold Intersquad Meet.
