No. 23/25 Men's Golf Makes Quick Return To The Course This Weekend In Tennessee

Ranked No. 23/25 in the latest national polls Kent State heads to Tennessee for the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at Blackthorn Club starting on Friday. Live scoring is available on www.golfstat.com
Format
The tournament consists of 54-holes over three days. Firstround play starts Friday, followed by 18 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday.
Golden Flashes Line-Up
Representing the Golden Flashes this week are senior Mackenzie Hughes, junior Kevin Miller, sophomores Taylor Pendrith, Kyle Kmiecik Corey Conner and freshman Nick Scott.
The Course
Blackthorn Club Golf Course is a par 72, 7,147-yard trek. Hosted by East Tennessee State University, the 14th annual tournament is played on the Arthur Hills design that was established in 1997 and has some of the most extraordinary scenic views the Mountain Empire has to offer.
The Field
The Golden Flashes will be competing against Clemson, East Tennessee State, Louisville, Memphis, Missouri, NC State, Tennessee, Toledo, UNC Wilmington, Army, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
Kent State at the B.O.T.
This is the seventh straight season the Golden Flashes have taken part in the tournament. Led by individual medalist honors from Mackenzie Hughes, Kent State was runner-up in the event last season with a 54-hole score of 857 (291-280-286). Hughes claimed his title with a seven stroke victory after carding rounds of 66 and 65 the final two days for a 203 composite.

Saturday: Sunny and windy. A high of 66 degrees followed by a low of 42 degrees, with zero percent chance of rain.
Sunday: Mostly Sunny, partly cloudy. A high of 74 degrees followed by a low of 51 degrees, with zero percent chance of rain.
