Women's Distance Team to Compete at Meyo Invitational

Several Kent State women's track & field student-athletes will make the trip to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Meyo Invitational this weekend (Feb. 4-5) at Notre Dame' s Loftus Sports Center.
Kent State distance coach Mark Croghan will lead senior Allison Krupko (Homeworth, Ohio) junior Audrey Maheu (Bristolville, Ohio), Josee Charron and Erica Hutson to Indiana to compete this weekend. Krupko will compete in the 5,000-meter run while Charron will take part in the mile run and Hutson in the 800-meter run. Maheu will compete in either the mile or the 800.
Last Saturday (Jan. 29) at the Penn State National, Maheu clocked a 4:53.58 to win the women's mile run, which currently ranks as Kent State's top time in the event this season.
