Kent State Track & Field's Preston Posts Big Pole Vault At Polytan Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Kent State redshirt junior Kim Preston (Greenville, Pa.) recorded the second-best women's pole vault in Kent State history today (April 22) at the Polytan Invitational.
Preston took second with a career-best mark of 13'-01.75" (4.01m). That mark ranks second only to Jackie Rodgers, who posted a vault of 13'-09.25" in 2005.
Sophomore Domenica Rossi (Middleburg Heights, Ohio) took ninth in the women's pole vault with a mark of 12'-00.00" (3.66m).
The Golden Flashes continue competition at the Jesse Owens Classic this weekend (April 23-24) in Columbus, Ohio.
