KENT, Ohio — The Kent State men's and women's golf program will host the 26th annual Rango Invitational on Wednesday, August 15 at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna, Ohio.
Both the men and women's golf teams had another successful season. The men's team won their 20th MAC Championship and 4th in a row, while the women's team won their 14th MAC Championship in a row. Sophomore Corey Conners claimed MAC medalist honors and four Golden Flashes (Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, Kevin Miller, and Taylor Pendrith) earned 1st team All-MAC. Nationally, the men's team earned their third consecutive TOP 20 finish in the country, finishing a record T-5th at the NCAA Championship. Finally, Corey Conners' T-4th finish is the best ever by a Kent State player at the NCAA Championship.
