KENT, Ohio – Kent State (3-8) could not stifle a St. Bonaventure team (10-4) that shot 70% from the field in the second half, eventually falling 44-61 Friday night (Dec. 20) to complete their non-conference season.

The second half was a different story. The Golden Flashes stayed on the same pace, shooting 33% from the floor, but the Bonnies were able to break away on an impressive 70% shooting performance in the final twenty minutes to win the game.
Overall, Kent State outrebounded 33-28 and had 13 assists on 17 field goals. They also had 14 second chance points on 17 offensive rebounds.
Johnson was the only Golden Flash to reach double figures, finishing with 17 points on the night. CiCi Shannon led the team with nine rebounds. Ashley Evans had four assists and four steals, both team-highs.
