Kent State hosts Belmont in an 11a.m. matinee Tuesday afternoon. Both teams will be looking for their first win of the 2014-15 season when they step on the M.A.C.C. floor.

• Kent State and Belmont first met last season. The Bruins won that game on home court 84-60
• Belmont is 0-3 with season-opening losses to Vanderbilt, North Alabama, and nationally ranked Louisville
Looking Back and Looking Forward
• The Golden Flashes fell 72-54 at Northwestern last Friday night
• After Tuesday's game, the team will travel to Cal Poly to play Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Dartmouth Friday Saturday in the Cal Poly Holiday Classic
Holiday Toy Drive
• The men's and women's basketball teams are holding a holiday toy drive this winter to benefit Project KARE
• Non-violent toys will be collected at all home games through December 17
• The programs ask that fans help out by donating unwrapped children's toys to help make a difference for hundreds of needy children this holiday season
Strong Start for Underclassman
• Three games into the season, sophomore Larissa Lurken leads the team in points and three-point field goal percentage
• Freshman Jordan Korinek leads the team in rebounds while Naddiyah Cross leads in assists
• Sophomore Krista White is the current team leader in steals
• Lurken, White and Korinek have all logged the most minutes on the court this season
