ANN ARBOR, Mich. โ Kent State's gymnastics team scored 194.275 points as they took third in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Friday, February 28 as No. 8 Michigan (197.200) took first and Brigham Young (195.325) took second at the Crisler Center.
The Golden Flashes fall to 8-3 overall as they scored 48.925 on the vault, 48.575 on the uneven bars, 47.850 on the balance beam and 48.925 on the floor.
Marie Case took fourth in the all-around with a total of 38.925 as she tied for second on the balance beam, 9.825 and tied for fifth with teammate Amiah Mims on the floor exercise, 9.875. Mims tied for fourth on the vault with a score of 9.850.
The Wolverines improve to 12-2 and scored 49.425 on vault, 49.225 on bars, 49.00 on beam and 49.550 on floor as the Cougars move to 3-10 overall and scored 48.775 on vault, 48.925 on bars, 48.759 on beam and 48.875 on floor.
The Golden Flashes return to home Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. to take on Bowling Green in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
