Kent State's cross country teams head to New Jersey for the Princeton Invite hosted by Princeton at the West Windsor Fields on Saturday, October 17th.

The Golden Flashes return to the course after a week off from competition. Kent State last competed at the All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio where the women's team took home sixth place and the men's team finished in eighth.
The women's squad was led by Rachel Slingluff who finished in sixth place with a time of 21:51.29. Hannah Fleck joined Slingluff inside the top-40 with a 35th place finish in a time of 23:21.72. Kent State's women's team finished with 192 total points in a time of 1:55:33.
The men's group was led by Kyle Brooks who took 40th at 25:44.32 while Grant Onken finished just behind him in 47th at 25:49.07. The Flashes men's team recorded a total of 244 points with a time of 2:09:58.

Following the Princeton Invite, Kent State will return to action on October 24th when the travel back to Cedarville to participate in the Cedarville Open.
