Kent State (1-3) will continue its current homestand when it hosts Malone (2-2) on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the M.A.C. Center.

• The team and coaches will be visiting Akron Children's Hospital this week in lead-up to the event

A Giving Spirit
• Kent State has made its presence known in the community during this past summer and fall
• This summer, the team averaged two hours a week volunteering at various places across the local area, including preparing meals at the Center for Hope in Ravenna and spending time with the residents at Kent Ridge
• The team was honored as Friend of the Kent Schools by the Board of Education for its dedication and hours spent with students at Davey Elementary
