Holley Honored by Columbus Touchdown Club

Kent State safety Nate Holley (Toledo, Ohio) was honored during the 60th Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards at the Sheraton Capitol Square in downtown Columbus on Saturday. Holley was one of 10 Mid-American Conference football players named as a 2015 MAC Player to Watch.

An All-MAC First Team selection and an Academic All-MAC choice, Holley ranked third in the nation in tackles per game (12.5) this past season. He also ranked sixth in the FBS in solo tackles (6.8).

Holley was named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2014. He was Kent State's quickest player to 100 tackles in a season since 1996.

The Golden Flashes begin spring practice March 2.
