Dunlap Named MAC Track Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Kent State senior, Miles Dunlap, was named the Mid-American Conference Male Track Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday, April 14th by the conference office.Â
At the Tennessee Relays this past weekend, April 9th – April 11th, Miles Dunlap turned in a solid performance overall. Dunlap helped his own cause by taking first in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.75 before competing on two relays that took first and third. The 4x400m relay he was a part of set the school record with a time of 3:08.88, while the 4x100m relay took third with a time of 40.49, the seventh fastest time in Kent State History. Dunlap's 400m Hurdles time currently leads the MAC and is ranked 90th in the nation, as the 4x400m relay leads the MAC and is 28th in the nation and the 4x100m relay is ranked second in the conference.
The Golden Flashes will next travel to the War Eagle Invitational in Auburn, Alabama and the Cardinal Invitational in Muncie, Indiana on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th.
