Conference Play Starts Saturday at the M.A.C. Center

Mid-American Conference play will begin this Saturday when Kent State (6-6) hosts pre-season favorite Central Michigan (8-4) at 1 p.m. in the M.A.C. Center.

• Kent State is 31-27 all-time against Central Michigan
• The teams have started MAC play against each other for the past two seasons
• Kent State lost 81-61 last season in Mount Pleasant and lost both meetings during the 2014-15 campaign
• The Golden Flashes' last win against the Chippewas came on January 22, 2012 when they won 67-64 at home
• Central Michigan received all 12 votes in the preseason poll to be predicted to win the MAC West
