Tournament Format and Tee Times
• The event will begin with one qualifying round of stroke play on Friday beginning in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
• The top eight teams will then be sorted in the red bracket with the remaining four teams in the black bracket
• Kent State will be paired with Auburn on Friday
• The event will continue with two rounds of match play on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
• The final round on Sunday will also be in match play format starting at 8:00 a.m.
Tournament History
• This is Kent State's ninth time competing in the event
• The last time was in 2011 when they finished 17th out of 23 teams
• The team's best finish was in 2009 when they placed 2nd out of 18 teams
• The Golden Flashes have also finished 5th on two occasions
• The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic has been in existence since 1973
• Northwestern posted the lowest team total in event history with a 277 (-11) in 2014
• Four individuals have tied for the lowest individual round of 66, including two golfers during the 2014 tournament
