Women's Golf Wraps up Play at SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Women's golf wrapped up the SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational with a final round of 302, 22-over par for a 7th place finish at 44-over through all three rounds.
No. 8 Florida, the host of the tournament, won the event by 11 strokes by shooting 22-over in the 54 hole invitational.
On Sunday, the final day, Michaela Finn posted the best individual score of 3-over to end the event in a tie for 21st place. Wad Phaewchimplee also finished in 21st with a 7-over final day.
Taylor Kim had the best overall finish in 14th place as she shot 8-over in the last round. Amira Alexander had a 4-over performance to be in 27th place. Josée Doyon shot 10-over on Sunday to tie for 65th.
Kent State's next competition is March 21-22 at the Briar's Creek Invitational in John's Island, S.C.
