Baseball Readies for Conference Matchup at Eastern Michigan

Mid-American Conference Division leaders Kent State (23-10, 6-3) and Eastern Michigan (13-17, 5-1) will face off in a three-game set this weekend in Ypsilanti. Friday's game is slated for 6 p.m. with Saturday's scheduled for 3 p.m. and the finale at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

THE MATCHUP
• Kent State is 62-42 all-time versus Eastern Michigan
• The teams faced off in Kent last season with the Eagles taking game one 4-3 before the Flashes took the series in a Sunday double header by scores of 8-6 and 12-4
• Kent State traveled to Eastern Michigan in 2014, winning 10-2, 6-1 and then losing 2-1
• Prior to 2014, the teams had not met in a conference series since 2011 when the Golden Flashes swept at home
