KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball game on Jan. 28 against Central Michigan has been moved to noon and picked up by the CBS Sports Network. In addition, the women's game against Bowling Green has been moved from 5 p.m. to 3 p.m., as the finale of the hoops doubleheader in the M.A.C. Center.
Originally scheduled for 7 p.m., the men will now kick off a day of hoops at the M.A.C. Center against the Chippewas. The game is scheduled to be the lone meeting between the two teams this season. Central Michigan is currently 11-6 overall, 1-3 MAC, and led by the nation's top scorer in Marcus Keene.
The women's team will have three more games, one at home, prior to Jan. 28, but are looking strong early. The Flashes are fresh off a 68-65 road win at Ohio Saturday and have won two of their last three games in MAC play. Bowling Green is currently 1-4 in MAC games, with their lone win coming at Akron.Â
