
Soccer Announces 2017 Schedule

The 2017 schedule is set for Kent State women's soccer as it aims to repeat its record-breaking 2016 season.
Competition will begin this fall at Duquesne on August 10 in a scrimmage. The regular season starts on the road at Purdue on Friday, August 18. The 2017 home opener is Sunday, August 20 against Cleveland State.
The Golden Flashes will ten hit the road for its next three games. The month of August rounds out with a match at St. Bonaventure on Sunday, August 27. Kent State will then compete at the Florida Gulf Coast Tournament September 1 and 3. The team will play the hosts and Florida Atlantic during the trip.
Kent State will return home on September 7 and 10 to host Pittsburgh and Dayton, respectively. The non-conference season will end Sunday, September 17 at Morehead State.
Mid-American Conference play starts Friday, September 22 at home when Central Michigan visits, followed by another home contest against Eastern Michigan on Sunday, September 24. The next two conference games are on the road, September 29 at Miami and October 1 at Ball State.
The Flashes return home to host Akron on Thursday, October 5 before departing for a match at Buffalo on Sunday, October 8. Kent State will then take a long trip west the following weekend to play at Northern Illinois and Western Michigan.
The regular season will conclude with three-straight home games. The Golden Flashes will host Toledo on October 19, Bowling Green on October 22 and Ohio University on October 26.
The 2017 MAC Tournament is set to begin with quarterfinal action on Sunday, October 29. The semifinals will be held Friday, November 3 with the championship to be played on Sunday, November 5.Â
