KENT, Ohio - The Kent State University men's basketball team returns home to the M.A.C. Center on Tuesday, January 30th for a showdown with the conference leading Buffalo Bulls at 7 p.m.. The game can be seen on ESPN3 and heard on the Kent State IMG Sports Network.

- Junior guard Jaylin Walker became a member of the illustrious 1,000 point club, becoming the 32nd player in program history to reach the milestone. Walker scored 21 points in the win and drilled his 1,000th point on a three-pointer four minutes into the second half.
- Senior guard Kevin Zabo scored a game-high 22 points (9-of-17), dropping at least 20 in his fifth consecutive game. He leads the squad averaging 19.4 ppg in MAC play, which ranks third in the league.
- Junior center Adonis De La Rosa registered his sixth double-double this year with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Bronx, New York native is third in MAC games in rebounds per game (9.5).
- Sophomore forward Mitch Peterson scored eight points, his most in any MAC game this year.
- Kent State ranks fifth in the MAC in scoring defense (73.0) and in conference-only games is averaging 74.4 ppg which is fourth in the league. The Golden Flashes are also the sixth-best shooting team in conference games, shooting 44%.
- Kent State is holding opponents to 33.2% from three-point distance which is second in the MAC.
