Flashes Close Out Fall Schedule at Betsy Rawls Invitational

KENT, Ohio- The No. 16 Kent State women's golf team hits the road this weekend for the final time this fall, traveling to Austin, Texas at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, Oct. 19-21.

The Flashes are coming off their third top-three finish at the Illini Invitational, where they took home second overall and had two co-champion finishers. Senior Michaela Finn and junior Karoline Stormo led the team throughout the weekend, finishing 9-under par 207 for first place.

Kent State won the tournament in back-to-back years in 2015 and 2016.

Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,491 yard University of Texas Golf Club in Austin.

Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. Friday and Saturday tee times will begin at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday's final round will have a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m.
