Gracie Larsen Wins MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

KENT, Ohio – Kent State golfer Gracie Larsen has been named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Friday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes jumped up multiple spots to a 7th place finish in the Boilermaker Classic on Tuesday thanks to Larsen's final round where she shot a 71. Larsen finished the event in 9th place out of 93 golfers with a +2 final score over 36 holes of golf.
Larsen was previously named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week once during her freshman season in which she also won MAC Freshman of the Year. She has also been selected to back-to-back MAC All-Tournament teams, the All-MAC First Team her freshman year, and the All-MAC Second Team her sophomore year.
Larsen and the Golden Flashes will continue their season on Sept. 21 as they travel to Aurora, Ontario, Canada to compete in the Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
