Kent State Heading to Ontario for Canadian Collegiate Invitational

KENT, Ohio -Â The Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel Women's Golf team is set to compete in the Canadian Collegiate Invitational on Monday.
The tournament is in Aurora, Ontario at the Beacon Hall Golf Course, roughly two hours south of the Canadian tournament the men's team played in last week in Foot's Bay. Beacon Hall Golf Course is one of the premier courses in the Toronto metropolitan area and has hosted a variety of collegiate golf tournaments in the past.Â
The event is a two-day, three round tournament, featuring six power conference schools, four mid-majors, and a school from British Columbia. The Golden Flashes have been designated as the co-host school with the University of Michigan.

Notes:
- Kent State's Veronika Kedroñová was the 2025 Canadian Collegiate Invitational individual Winner. The senior from the Czech Republic finished six under par while the Golden Flashes finished second with 10 strokes under par as a team.
- The Golden Flashes enter the tournament coming off a 7th place finish at the Boilermaker Classic last week. The team was led by Gracie Larsen who tied for 9th individually and eventually won MAC Golfer of the Week.
- Isabella Goyette also had an impressive performance last week as an individual, placing just outside of the top 10 in the Boilermaker Classic. Â
- The Golden Flashes will be taking five team golfers and Kristen Belden as an individual to the tournament. Vicky Huang and Alexa Prettyman will also be competing this week as individuals at the MSU Mary Fossum Invitational.Â
