KENT STATE GAME NOTES
KENT, Ohio - The Kent State University men's basketball team will face rival Akron on Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at the James A. Rhodes Health and Physical Education Building. The Golden Flashes are attempting to sweep the season series with the Zips for the first time since 2010. The game can be watched on ESPN3 and heard on the Kent State IMG Sports Network.

- Jaylin Walker scored a season-high 27 points in the last meeting against the Zips. As a team Kent State drilled 10 threes for the fifth time this year, and are 5-0 when doing so.
- Walker leads the team in scoring (17.0 ppg) and scored in double-digits for the 14th consecutive game, dropping 15 against Miami. He has 1,167 career points which is 20th in program history. He also ranks sixth in threes (193) in school history.
