Bookman Earns First Career Win at Tommy Evans Invitational
Norton, Ohio – Junior Clark Bookman followed his fifth place finish in the Toledo Opener with his first victory of his collegiate career at the Tommy Evans Invitational with a time of 19:51.0. He helped lead the men to a fourth place finish.
The men placed two other runners in the top 15 with Sam Goodman finishing in 13th place (20:21.6) and Alex Stamper coming in 14th place (20:22.4).
The women earned a second place finish as a team, led by Maddie Dunlap who earned her first top-5 finish of the season, finishing in fifth place with a time of (18:23.4). The Golden Flashes had three other top-20 finishers with Leah Lisle placing 14th (18:47.3), Kalli Barrett placing 15th (18:47.4) and Nicole Fleming finishing in 18th place (18:53.4).
